Services We ProvideDUITFL offers complete DUI services including: Evaluation, Risk Education, Counseling, Continuing Care, and assistance in Drivers License Reinstatement regarding Secretary of State Hearings. TFL takes pride in our ability to accommodate our clients with regard to cost and flexible scheduling. Group, Individual, and Family CounselingGroups typically meet once per week (except IOP) at a specific time and are facilitated by staff. Group focuses on a variety of topics and formats and can have up to 15 members. Intensive Outpatient groups (IOP) typically meet 3 times per week for a minimum of 3 hours each session. Individual counseling is a one-on-one meeting with your counselor, lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour. The focus is usually on your specific issues, developing a treatment plan, and your progress in treatment. Family counseling involves you and 1 or more members of your family and typically lasts 1 hour. The focus is typically on family issues and problems and how they might be resolved. Flex IOPTFL offers a flexible Intensive Outpatient Program that allows clients to choose a home group and 2 flex groups that they will attend each week. The program accommodates clients with difficult or fluctuating schedules. Intensive Outpatient groups (IOP) typically meet 3 times per week for a minimum of 3 hours each session. Early Intervention/EducationTFL recognizes that not everyone needs treatment. We provide Drug and alcohol education and early intervention counseling for Adults and Adolescents. Adolescent ServicesTFL staff is trained to work with adolescents and young adults and their families. TFL provides Early Intervention Counseling and Education and also has some unique tools and programming such as the Activities and Interests Assessment © and the Gang Prevention © program. Anger ManagementTFL offers an individualized program taylored to your individual circumstances and history, and issues. At TFL we don’t believe that everyone needs the same number of hours or intensity of services. The TFL Anger Management program consists of group and/or individual counseling that has specific goals and objectives related to managing anger and aggression and other related emotions. Spanish Speaking ServicesA qualified Spanish speaking counselor provides DUI, Outpatient, and Intensive outpatient substance abuse services and evaluations for Adults and adolescents. Gender Specific ServicesTFL offers groups specifically for women that address women's specific issues, challenges, and needs in a safe group environment. Drug/Alcohol TestingTFL does on-site/same day alcohol and drug testing. Urinalysis or saliva testing are options. TFL also offers the relatively new ETG test that can test for alcohol up to 5-days after last use. Dual Diagnosis CounselingTFL staff are trained in dealing with co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. Life CoachingTFL offers services to people who may not have a substance abuse or serious mental health disorders, but may have problems or issues in other life areas such as grief, work issues or lack of direction. Work Readiness CounselingTFL has a variety of tools and materials available to help clients manage work stress, develop employment skills, effectively seek employment, or become more effective/productive/promotion-worthy employees. TFL uses the Work Readiness Index (WRI) to assess employment related strengths and weaknesses, generate a personal feedback printout, and develop a plan for corrective action.
